On a daily basis, School Tours of America (STA) is closely monitoring the still developing situation, and wants everyone to understand that our first priority is – and will always be - the safety and security of our travelers.
As of today, December 21,2024, there are no travel advisories to any US destination that we operate tours.
STA Leadership and upper management continuously maintain a 24/7 response network; we are actively monitoring the status of all travel destinations where we have scheduled tours. We are specifically paying close attention to the guidance from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the US Government travel advisory levels.
In addition, we continually monitor Federal and National authorities and industry trade associations - the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), National Tour Association (NTA), and the Student Youth Tour Association (SYTA) - to ensure that no tour group travels to or tours any area that would be deemed unsafe or a threat.
Rest assured, with several decades of experience in East Coast educational programming, our veteran staff of planners, field personnel and operators are trained and prepared to follow emergency contingency guidelines under virtually every scenario.
STA will continue to monitor our destinations and will update all travelers if anything changes.
